SerenusViewer is ideal for use in an educational setting. Using SerenusViewer in a classroom environment allows a teacher to show an extremely large image, panning and zooming to regions of interest in real time.
One example would be showing students several Regions of Interest (ROI) on a whole slide often used in pathology. By adding Regions of Interest, the instructor can move to each region simply by clicking on it on the screen. Regions can be further annotated with text notation and pointers.
